The X-Carve Pro comes with a 1500W spindle with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). We chose an air-cooled for easy setup and use.
*Water-cooled spindles require a different setup. We ran heat stress tests for 24 hours of continuous carving and did not notice any measurable increases in heat or loss of performance.
