The X-Carve Pro controller comes preloaded with the GRBL firmware. You can upload the latest firmware using Easel (Machine > General Settings > Upload Firmware). However, in some cases the firmware upload may be corrupted or the upload has failed.
It may be necessary to manually re-flash the firmware when troubleshooting a connection issue.
These steps should only be attempted when recommended by the Inventables Technical Support team.
You will need two things:
1. Arduino IDE downloaded and installed: Arduino downloads page
2. X-Carve Pro latest firmware (extracted and compressed GRBL file): https://github.com/inventables/grbl-xcp/releases
